Hero of Belarus Marina Vasilevskaya, who made the first spaceflight in Belarus’ sovereign history, paid a visit to the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus. On 19 July Marina Vasilevskaya handed over the NOC flag, which was taken to the ISS during the expedition, to NOC President Viktor Lukashenko. The flag hoisting ceremony at the NOC headquarters was also attended by students of the Minsk recuperation center Lider. The cosmonaut held photo and autograph sessions and answered the children’s questions about the spaceflight.
