In 1892, Russian artist Ilya Repin bought the estate Zdravnevo 16km away from Vitebsk. This house was a place where he lived and painted several of his works. At present, this historical site is home to the Ilya Repin Museum Estate Zdravnevo. A linden alley, a cellar, and a pond have survived from the artist's time. The main house and a steward's house have been restored. The estate has become one of favorite holiday spots for local residents and tourists.
