A comprehensive drill on search and rescue flight support was held at Minsk National Airport on 4 September. The exercise focused on procedures for rescuing passengers and aircraft crews at the site of an aviation accident. The drill involved two aircraft, the Emergencies Ministry’s Mi-26 and Mi-8 helicopters, approximately 20 units of various equipment, and over 100 specialists and staff from the airport and other organizations.
