MOSCOW, 26 February (BelTA - TV
BRICS) - The international scientific and practical conference for
school students, “Start in Innovation”, will celebrate its 25th
anniversary in 2026, serving as a global platform for dialogue. This
year, participants and experts from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Mexico,
Brazil, China, Egypt, Iran, the UAE and other countries will compete.
For the second consecutive year, TV BRICS is the event’s international
media partner.
Over 8,000 applications were submitted, with an expert jury selecting the 300 best projects. The conference finale will bring together these project authors and leading experts in science, business and education.
“The 25th anniversary of the international scientific and practical conference for school students ‘Start in Innovation’ is a special source of pride. It is a system that nurtures talent, reveals inner potential, and inspires curiosity and engagement,” said Olga Petrova, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia.
Participation offers school students new opportunities. As part of the P. L. Kapitsa Phystech-Lyceum Olympiad, “Start in Innovation” is included in the list of Olympiads of the Russian Council of School Olympiads at Level II, granting finalists advantages when entering leading Russian technical universities, including 100 points for the Unified State Exam or admission without entrance exams.
During the final week, a Festival of Cultures and Countries will showcase the traditions of participants’ regions and nations.
The conference allows young participants to experience a professional environment, explore different fields, and shape their future development.
“Start in Innovation” is a scientific and practical conference and educational programme in a blended online-offline format, organised by the P. L. Kapitsa Phystech-Lyceum in partnership with the Phystech-schools development foundation.
