MINSK, 18 January (BelTA) – A business delegation from the United Republic of Tanzania has visited the BelAZ plant. During the tour, the guests expressed distinct interest in establishing a mutually beneficial partnership, BelTA learned from the BelAZ press service.

The Tanzanian delegation toured BelAZ production facilities, where they saw the assembly line and models of mass-produced mining and special-purpose equipment.

Business talks were held in a constructive atmosphere, during which potential formats of cooperation were explored. The African representatives conveyed their readiness to further develop mutually advantageous relations.

Strategically located in the region, the United Republic of Tanzania – and the African market overall – represents a promising export destination for BelAZ machinery. Tanzania engages in the industrial production of diamonds, gold, and iron ore, and possesses significant potential for the exploration and development of other mineral resources, notably nickel and coal.
