MINSK, 28 January (BelTA) - Managers of industrial enterprises expect an increase in demand and output. This is evidenced by the results of a market survey conducted by the Economic Research Institute at the Economy Ministry of Belarus in January, BelTA learned from the press service of the Economy Ministry of Belarus.
Two thirds of respondents noted that the demand for their products keeps growing. The order intake averages 3.2 months and the level of utilization of production capacities is at 70% and did not change. The majority of respondents (88%) noted the preservation or increase in the number of employees.
Managers have plans regarding the further development of enterprises: major investments go into upgrade (78%) and expansion (36%) of production capacities.
The survey participants expect an increase in demand and output in the short term, as well as growth in the number of employees.
