MINSK, 9 September (BelTA) – Despite all the hardships the Belarusian economy works systemically. Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Piotr Parkhomchik mentioned it as he met with St Petersburg Vice Governor Valery Moskalenko, BelTA has learned.
Piotr Parkhomchik said: “Despite all the complications the Belarusian economy works systemically. No enterprise has been halted. We are gaining in many parameters. In particular, the agricultural machinery manufacturing industry is working very well. It is due to food security of many countries. As our agricultural manufacturers sometimes joke, tractors and harvesters are selling like hot cakes now.”
In his words, sales of harvesters and tractors demonstrate good dynamics, too. “We see it will continue into the next year. There is a constant demand for such machines,” the official said.
