
MINSK, 18 August (BelTA) – In January-July 2025 retail trade in Belarus totaled Br57.3 billion, up by 8.6% from the same period of last year in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.
One-day retail sale volume per capita came at Br29.6 as against Br26.2 in the same period a year prior.
Retail outlets accounted for 95.6% of retail sales. In January-July 2025 they reported Br54.8 billion in retail sale volume, up by 9.4% as against January-July 2024.
In January-July 2025 wholesale trade amounted to Br101.7 billion, or 94.1% year-on-year in comparable prices.
In January-July 2025 trade by public catering outlets totaled Br4.1 billion or up by 5.1% as against the same stretch a year ago.
