MINSK, 16 January (BelTA) – In 2025 retail trade in Belarus totaled Br102.9 billion, up by 6.6% from the same period of last year in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.
One-day retail sale volume per capita came at Br30.9 as against Br27.5 in the previous year.
Retail outlets accounted for 95.6% of retail sales. In 2025 they reported Br98.4 billion in retail sale volume, up by 7.2% as against 2024.
In 2025 wholesale trade amounted to Br180.2 billion, or 95.1% year-on-year in comparable prices.
In 2025 trade by public catering outlets totaled Br7.4 billion or up by 5.1% as against the same stretch a year ago.
