Number of transactions at BUCE up 28.6% in Q1 2025

MINSK, 2 May (BelTA) - In Q1 2025, a total of 140,700 transactions to the total tune of Br3.69 billion were concluded at the exchange trading of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE), which is up 28.6% year-on-year, BelTA learned from the press service of Belarus’ Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade.

The total number of export exchange transactions for the first quarter of 2025 amounted to Br1.3 billion and increased almost 1.5 times compared to the same period of 2024.

The most popular Belarusian goods abroad were timber, milk powder, meat, butter, and feed additives.

In Q1 2025, a total of 774 new companies (470 residents and 304 non-residents) were accredited to participate in exchange trading at BUCE. As of 31 March 2025, more than 36,000 companies were accredited, including more than 8,000 non-residents from 81 countries.
