MINSK, 20 October (BelTA) – During the modernization of the programmable machine shop at BelAZ, a new line of high-tech equipment was installed in the machining section for body parts and rotating components of dump trucks with a payload capacity of 90 to 360 tonnes, the company’s press service told BelTA.
The line comprises ten new programmable horizontal machining centers. These machines are capable of performing a comprehensive range of operations, including milling, boring, threading, and drilling on suspension, steering, and body parts – all in a single setup, with a primary focus on machining quality.
