MINSK, 26 June (BelTA) – Myanmar has expressed interest in cooperating with Belarus in optoelectronic instrumentation engineering, the press service of the Belarusian Industry Ministry told BelTA.
Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Min Aung Hlaing visited the BelOMO holding company. He was accompanied by Belarusian Industry Minister Aleksandr Yefimov and the company’s leadership.
The parties discussed opportunities for developing bilateral cooperation in high-tech manufacturing and innovative solutions.
Min Aung Hlaing expressed interest in strengthening partnership ties with Belarus and emphasized the importance of technology and knowledge exchange for advancing Myanmar’s industrial sector. He noted that cooperation in optoelectronic instrumentation engineering could become a key step toward modernizing Myanmar’s economy and expanding its export potential.
Aleksandr Yefimov reaffirmed Belarus’ readiness to continue dialogue and join efforts to implement projects that will contribute to the development of both countries and enhance their technological capabilities.
