
MINSK, 26 May (BelTA) – MTZ-Tatarstan plans to ramp up the output and sale of machinery, Deputy Industry Minister of Belarus Andrei Kuznetsov told journalists during the visit of the Belarusian government delegation to Tatarstan, BelTA reports.

“Today we are focused on both sales and service, warranty service. We are developing Belarus-Tatarstan joint assembly production. We are working in close collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia on this. Today, the documents giving the products the status of Russian-made products are almost ready. This will also help increase the output at this production site. Indeed, we can expand the production and sale of our products several times over,” Andrei Kuznetsov said.

MTZ-Tatarstan manufactures tractors and special-purpose machinery. Since 2010, a total of 24,238 units of equipment have rolled off the company's assembly line. The enterprise makes tractors and utility vehicles, is involved in wholesale trade in agricultural machinery and spare parts, repair and maintenance. The production of the following products has been localized: low-hood cabins, high-pressure hoses, hydraulically rotated blades and buckets, and instrument panels.
