Minsk plans to achieve all key development goals in 2025

MINSK, 8 December (BelTA) - Chairman of the Economics Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee Aleksandr Yevseyev told journalists about the fulfillment of Minsk’s socio-economic development indicators, BelTA has learned.

One of the topics of the meeting of the Minsk City Executive Committee was the results of Minsk’s socio-economic development for 2025. “We plan to achieve almost all target indicators: growth rates of investment in fixed capital at 108.1%, average monthly accrued wages at 114.2%, total budget revenues of Minsk at 118%, and a reduction in production and sales costs of goods, works, and services by 1.4%,” Aleksandr Yevseyev said.

In January-October 2025, the target for gross regional product was not fully met, despite the fact that Minsk showed the highest growth (102.8%) among the regions of the country.

According to Aleksandr Yevseyev, the capital is successfully dealing with matters related to foreign economic activity: “We are achieving export growth in goods and services of 106.5% compared to the national target of 105.4%. Enterprises are operating steadily and successfully. While there are some challenges in the manufacturing sector, we are working hard to address them. Enterprises are participating in the use of funds from the investment program and the innovation fund, and are actively mastering resources allocated for digitalization measures.”

The average salary in Minsk has risen significantly and now amounts to Br3,539, which is 15% higher than last year.

Aleksandr Yevseyev emphasized that Minsk has already laid the groundwork for 2026 and is preparing for the first quarter: “With 2025 setting a high standard, the path ahead will be challenging, but we see clear opportunities to achieve every major indicator.”
