MINSK, 21 February (BelTA) – In 2021 Minsk Oblast exported $9,649.5 million worth of merchandise, 135.2% as against 2020, the press service of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee told BelTA.
Merchandise trade surplus amounted to $2,791.8 million, up by $1,548.6 million from 2020.
Minsk Oblast's export of services reached $1,368.9 million, 145.6% as against 2020. The deficit of the foreign trade in services equaled $43.2 million, an improvement of $106.3 million from 2020.
In 2021 retail trade in Minsk Oblast amounted to Br10,260.7 million, 102.6% as against 2020 in comparable prices. As for the trade turnover of the public catering industry, it totaled Br352.4 million, 111.2% as against 2020.
