GOMEL, 16 January (BelTA) – Gomselmash Director General Vitaly Sheleg spoke to journalists about the company’s export priorities for the near future, BelTA has learned.
Vitaly Sheleg stressed that the enterprise is export-oriented. “However, given the importance our country attaches to agriculture, our primary task is to meet Belarus’ demand for machinery. The second largest sales market is the Russian Federation,” he noted.
Kazakhstan is also a very promising market, the director emphasized. “In 2025 we shipped 440 machines to Kazakhstan, which reflects growth of more than 180%. For the current year, the government has set a target of 500 units,” he said.
He added that another key export destination is the post-Soviet space, CIS countries, with around 300 machines planned for delivery. “Our president has also instructed us to develop distant markets. As of today, 220 machines have already been contracted for the African market, with the possibility of increasing this figure over the course of the year,” Vitaly Sheleg said.
The Gomselmash holding is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery, recognized among the global leaders in combine harvesters and advanced farm equipment. Its product portfolio includes grain and forage harvesters, corn and potato harvesters, mowers, and a wide range of other agricultural machines. Gomselmash equipment is in operation across Russia, Kazakhstan, Argentina, Brazil, China, the Republic of Korea, and many other countries. The company supports its international presence through an extensive distribution network, joint ventures, and assembly facilities.
