
MINSK, 8 July (BelTA) – In June 2025, individuals in Belarus sold $233.5 million worth of foreign currency more than they purchased, BelTA learned from the statistics released by the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB).
In June 2025, individuals purchased the equivalent of $1.052 billion in cash and cashless forms and sold $1.286 billion worth of foreign currency. In January-June 2025, individuals sold $649.7 million worth of foreign currency more than they purchased.
Based on the data of the National Bank, the commercial entities bought $823.6 million worth of currency more than they sold. In June legal entities purchased the equivalent $3.822 billion worth of foreign currency and sold $2.998 billion. In January-June 2025, foreign currency purchases by legal entities exceeded sales by $1.122,2 million.
