
MINSK, 7 October (BelTA) - In September 2025, individuals in Belarus sold $189.2 million worth of foreign currency more than they purchased, BelTA learned from the statistics released by the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB).
In September 2025, individuals purchased the equivalent of $1.133 billion in cash and cashless forms and sold $1.322 billion worth of foreign currency. In January-September 2025, individuals sold $1.212 billion worth of foreign currency more than they purchased.
Based on the data of the National Bank, the commercial entities bought $375.5 million worth of currency more than they sold. In September legal entities purchased the equivalent $3.727 billion worth of foreign currency and sold $3.351 billion. In January-September 2025, foreign currency purchases by legal entities exceeded sales by $1.814 billion.
