MINSK, 10 January (BelTA) - The share of domestic manufacturers in new car sales in Belarus has reached 70%, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Automobile Association (BAA).
“December is traditionally the most active month for the automotive market, and December 2025 confirmed the leadership of the domestic auto industry. Belarusian dealers sold 5,700 new passenger cars,” the association noted.
Despite the fact that total sales in December decreased by 14% compared to December 2024, BELGEE posted the record result. The plant sold 4,069 vehicles under the BelGEE and Geely brands, which was nearly 50% higher than in November. The growth was driven by attractive pricing offers and favorable loan programs.
“As a result, the share of domestic manufacturers accounted for 70% of all new passenger car sales in the country during the reporting period,” the BAA added.
