MINSK, 6 January (BelTA) – The president’s One District–One Project initiative is being implemented in every region of Belarus. As of 1 December 2025, 112 investment projects have been completed, creating approximately 5,100 jobs. In total, over a thousand investment projects have been realized during the five-year period, Economy Minister Yuri Chebotar said in an interview with the Economy of Belarus Magazine.

“The introduction of new agricultural technologies has raised crop yields, increased production and exports, and strengthened food security,” emphasized Yuri Chebotar. “In 2024, the updated Investment Law, which introduced popular support mechanisms, came into force. Under this law, three investment agreements worth Br2.6 billion have been signed, and 26 preferential projects estimated at over Br1.4 billion are being implemented.”

The minister noted that the Great Stone Industrial Park has become the country’s flagship project: it has more than 170 resident companies from 16 countries, with a total declared investment volume of nearly $1.7 billion and plans to create over 16,600 jobs. Up to 70% of the projects running in the park relate to production within the 5th and 6th technological paradigms.

The Hi-Tech Park is another key element of Belarus’ brand: by 2025, it will have over 1,000 companies.

“Despite the ongoing pressure on the Belarusian economy, the country’s foreign trade flows have grown during the concluding five-year period. Exports of goods to friendly countries have increased 1.6-fold. Exports of services, at $11.2 billion, represent a record in the history of the Belarusian economy,” he said.

Transport exports are expected to reach their highest level, while exports of construction services have more than doubled over the five-year period, and exports of computer services have shown positive trends for the second consecutive year.
