MINSK, 28 October (BelTA) - The development of bilateral relations between Belarus and Pakistan needs a new impetus, Belarusian Energy Minister Viktor Karankevich said at a meeting of the Belarusian part of the joint Belarusian-Pakistani commission for trade and economic cooperation, BelTA learned from the ministry's press service.
"As a result of today's meeting we should agree upon a clear plan of further actions to intensify cooperation with Pakistan in all areas of interest to the Belarusian side," said Viktor Karankevich, who heads the Belarusian part of the commission.
The meeting participants explored the possibilities for the development of Belarusian-Pakistani cooperation in industry, agriculture, education, healthcare and other sectors.
