MINSK, 18 August (BelTA) – The Belarusian car manufacturer BelGee will roll out new hybrid and electric vehicle models from various brands for the Belarusian market before the end of 2025, BelGee Director General Gennady Svidersky said during a press conference in Minsk on 18 August, BelTA reports.
While technical development of the Belgee eX50 model has been completed, economic analysis revealed that component costs exceed current global market prices. “This applies to electric motors, batteries and inverters. Therefore, launching mass production is currently economically unviable,” Gennady Svidersky explained.
The Belgee-branded hybrid crossover is slated for the domestic and Russian markets, with certification nearing completion. “Approval is expected in August or early September. The model boasts a total range exceeding 900km, including approximately 100km on battery power alone. Its computer-controlled hybrid mode maximizes efficiency and driver convenience. It is semi knocked down, with production set for Q3,” the director noted.
This prompted BelGee to expand the lineup with new models. “We expect to introduce Geely’s budget electric model E22H and the Belgee X80 hybrid crossover in 2025. These vehicles are competitively priced and will find their buyers,” he stated.

Meanwhile, the Geely E22H will serve as an affordable EV option. “It made waves in China. We hope Belarusian consumers will appreciate its reliability, maneuverability, and competitive pricing,” Gennady Svidersky concluded.
