Belarusian enterprises showcase innovations at Ecology Expo

MINSK, 19 August (BelTA) – Enterprises affiliated with the Industry Ministry are taking part in Ecology Expo 2025, the 3rd international specialized ecological exhibition, in Minsk, BelTA learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry of Belarus.

The exhibition features an Eco-Transport section, where enterprises affiliated with the Industry Ministry are demonstrating innovative solutions aimed at creating a comfortable urban environment and reducing the environmental burden on megacities.
BKМ Holding Company presented a Vitovt Truck Electro Prime С45700 electric truck with a load capacity of up to 10 tonnes. The model is equipped with 276 kWh traction batteries providing a range of up to 200km. Its charging time is 90 minutes and it reaches a maximum speed of 90km per hour. The electric truck features the design of the Vitovt vehicle line. The interior meets global trends in truck cabin design and ergonomics. The electric components are made by BKМ Holding Company: inverters, DC/DC converters, and electrical circuit protection and control units.

Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) is showcasing a MAZ-GTe truck with an electric drive, an innovative development in utility vehicles. It was designed to meet high modern requirements for both urban use and the challenging conditions of waste collection and transportation. The MAZ-GTe is not just a waste collection and transport vehicle but an eco-friendly mode of transport with an electric drive. It is equipped with a 150kW electric engine and 256kWh lithium iron phosphate batteries. Its range on a single charge is up to 200km.
Mogilevliftmash has presented an experimental prototype of a synchronous traction engine for BelGee cars. The engine was developed by the United Institute of Mechanical Engineering at the National Academy of Sciences, with the blueprints transferred to Mogilevliftmash for manufacturing. A BelGee passenger car is currently undergoing testing.
The 3rd Ecology Expo, held under the motto "Green Innovations for a Sustainable Future”, kicked off in Minsk on 19 August and will be running for three days. The expo is set to host representatives of government bodies, ministries, and agencies from the CIS and other countries, Belarusian and foreign companies, international organizations, and scientists. They will discuss key issues in green economy development, exchange best practices, and showcase achievements in the field of environmental protection.
