MINSK, 5 September (BelTA) – Belarus is deepening its industrial partnership with Uganda. The matter was discussed in a meeting between Belarus’ Deputy Industry Minister Denis Bakei and Uganda’s Minister of State for Animal Industry Bright Rwamirama.

The partnership, which started in 2025, has involved a series of high-level negotiations at the Industry Ministry on supplying agricultural machinery and fostering broader industrial collaboration.

Denis Bakei confirmed Belarus’ commitment to implementing previously agreed-upon agreements for long-term cooperation. The parties also reviewed a draft memorandum of understanding that outlines the full scope of potential collaboration, from the sale of agricultural machinery to its local assembly, maintenance, and operator training.

In turn, the Ugandan delegation expressed interest in exporting its domestic products, including coffee, tea, and fruits, to the Belarusian market.
