Following two trading sessions held on BUCE, a total of 4,000 tonnes of beet pulp were sold to importers in the UAE.

Until now, the geography of exchange-based beet pulp exports included six countries: Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, and Estonia. In January-August 2025, Belarus exported 78,400 tonnes of this product to foreign markets, which was a 5% increase year-on-year. In monetary terms, beet pulp exports rose by 74%, from $3.5 million to $6.1 million.

“This year, exchange participants from the UAE have shown increased interest in Belarusian agricultural products and regularly close deals. As a result, in January-August 2025, sales of agricultural goods to the UAE grew by 63% year-on-year, reaching $32 million. The most popular product categories among UAE buyers were amino acids, powdered milk, and flax fiber,” BUCE’s press service reported.

As of 22 September, BUCE accredited 39 business entities from the United Arab Emirates, seven more than at the beginning of January this year. The total value of exchange transactions between Belarusian and UAE participants reached $37 million in January-August 2025, which was 145% more compared to the same period in 2024.
