MINSK, 19 February (BelTA) – Belarus and Türkiye have agreed the quota of permits for international cargo transportation by road in 2026. The relevant agreement was reached at a session of the Belarusian-Turkish commission on international transportation by road in Istanbul, Türkiye, the press service of the Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry told BelTA.
The Transport and Communications Ministry delegation was led by Head of the ministry’s Automobile and Urban Passenger Transport Office Andrei Gladky. The use of permits in a digital form was discussed during the meeting of representatives of the transport authorities.
The parties also decided to extend the experiment, as part of which permits are not necessary to transport cargoes between Belarus and Türkiye by road and to transport transit international cargoes by road via these countries (type A).
