MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) – The national stand of Belarus is on display at the international exhibition Intourmarket 2025. Winter in St. Petersburg, the National Tourism Agency of Belarus told BelTA.

Over 50 tourism professionals are presenting their travel programs and opportunities. Among them are Belarusian health resorts and hotels popular with Russian visitors, travel companies, information and tourism centers, regional sports and tourism departments, as well as industrial and medical facilities. Together, they offer a comprehensive picture of Belarus as a diverse and attractive destination.

As the main organizer of Belarus’ participation, the National Tourism Agency presented its new developments at the exhibition: an updated tourist map and a detailed MICE tourism catalog. These tools are designed to facilitate the planning of leisure and business trips across Belarus.

Special attention is given to the country’s natural treasures. The Pripyatsky National Park invites visitors to immerse themselves in the wild landscapes, lakes and forests of the park and discover the untouched natural riches of Polesie. The Braslav Lakes National Park, already well-known among many Russian travelers, offers a virtual tour of its scenic eco-trails and campsites, and showcases its developed infrastructure and accessible tourism programs, making lake holidays comfortable for everyone.

It is also worth noting that December has been officially declared a month of gastronomic tourism in Belarus. As part of this initiative, visitors to the St. Petersburg exhibition are treated to Belarusian food products. Special emphasis is placed on gastronomic tours that introduce travelers to national cuisine and culinary traditions.

“The national stand is traditionally decorated in the style of folk Vytsinanka, a refined art form of paper cutting, which gives it a unique character and highlights the country’s cultural identity,” the National Tourism Agency noted.

Intourmarket is a major international tourism exhibition and forum, traditionally one of the key platforms for showcasing the tourism potential of Russian regions and discussing industry development. Starting in 2025, it is expanding its geography by holding events in different cities. In St. Petersburg, it brings together experts, tour operators, agencies and media representatives to exchange experience and find solutions for domestic and inbound tourism.

“Participation in Intourmarket 2025. Winter is an important step toward further strengthening Belarus’ position on the Russian tourism market, attracting new visitors and developing mutually beneficial cooperation in the tourism sector,” the National Tourism Agency emphasized.
