MINSK, 10 December (BelTA) – Products of 12 companies are on display at the stand Belarus. The Taste of Nature at the international exhibition of food and drinks Food Africa which is running in Cairo, Egypt on 8-10 December, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The exhibition is a major specialized event of North Africa. This year, more than 300 companies from 32 countries are among its participants, including Bahrain, the UK, Kenya, China, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Saudi Arabia, France and South Africa.
“Belarus. The Taste of Nature has showcased products from 12 Belarusian food enterprises. The stand was attended by a delegation of the Egyptian Ministry of Supply and internal Trade, led by Minister Ali Moselhi, and also representatives of the Belarusian embassy in Egypt,” Belinterexpo said.
Belarus displayed the products of Minsk Dairy No. 1, the confectioneries Kommunarka, Spartak, Slodych, Krasny Pischevik and Krasny Mozyryanin. Gamma Vkusa has offered a wide range of baby food. The line of fast food products is demonstrated by Lidapischeconcetrates. The stand was showcased the products of Minsk Margarine Plant and Yeast Plant, Minsk Kristall and Neman Factory of Grodno.
The organizer of the Belarusian exposition is Belinterexpo with the active participation of the Belarusian embassy in Egypt, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, the Belarusian state food industry concern Belgospishcheprom.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt Sergei Rachkov, secretary general of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce Alaa Ezz, and business circles of the two countries took part in the Belarusian-Egyptian forum. Representatives of Belarusian companies made presentations of their products and held talks with Egyptian businessmen. The participants of the Belarusian exposition also visited the manufacturing enterprises of Cairo and held a number of meetings with the management of large retail chains.
