MINSK, 2 February (BelTA) - The National Bank has presented a new graphical symbol for the Belarusian ruble, BelTA has learned.
The winner of the competition for the best new graphical symbol is Vasily Shchebetun. His work received the highest total score. The author was today awarded a prize - a certificate for Br3,000.
As BelTA has reported, nearly 2,700 applications were submitted for participation in the competition for a new graphical symbol for the Belarusian ruble. The applications closed on 7 November. The competition commission selected the five best works, which were posted on the National Bank's website for voting. A total of 22,146 participants voted in the competition for the new graphical symbol of the Belarusian ruble. The online voting concluded on 28 November. The new graphical symbol was chosen based on the results of the voting and the commission's evaluations. The competition results were announced on 31 December 2025.
