Belarus' MTZ to ship 140 tractors to Russia's Novosibirsk Oblast

MINSK, 25 June (BelTA) – A contract on the delivery of 140 tractors Belarus was signed in Novosibirsk on 24 June as the Russian city celebrated its 125th anniversary, BelTA learned from Director General of MTZ-Siberia Trading House Dmitry Belaits.

The Minsk Tractor Plant (MTZ) will supply 140 tractors Belarus for the needs of agricultural producers and municipal services of the city. The batch will include small-sized and high-energy machinery. The contract will be implemented before the end of August.

An exposition of Belarusian equipment was organized at one of the main exhibition venues of Novosibirsk on 24 June. The Minsk Tractor Works, the Minsk Automobile Plant, and Amkodor showcased their products.

The city residents and guests were also entertained by a show of loading vehicles. Strong man from Belarus Dmitry Belaits, the head of the MTZ-Siberia Trading House, set a new record by dragging MAZ vehicles with the total weight of more than 90 tonnes.
