MINSK, 29 January (BelTA) – Anastasia Skorobogatova, head of the department for the coordination of supplies to the domestic market and foreign trade activities of the Belarusian food industry concern Belgospishcheprom, revealed which Belarusian goods are among the most popular exports, BelTA has learned.
According to her, the geography of supplies to enterprises that are part of the Belgospishcheprom concern is quite wide. "These are about 50 countries. These are not only the CIS countries, but also Asia, Africa and even Oceania. It should be noted that Russia is the priority and main sales market for the group's organizations. The total volume of exports is more than 73%," she said.
Anastasia Skorobogatova explained that Russia is the most important foreign partner, not only because of its historical relations and geographical location, but also because of the taste preferences of people living in the country. "It's no secret that Belarusian products are famous for their high quality around the world. Products from the organizations of the Belgospishcheprom concern are not an exception," she said.
"The top most exported products include sugar, confectionery, salt, rapeseed oil, malt, spirits, yeast, beer, and fruit and vegetable products. Foreign consumers can always count on an expansion of the product range and an increase in quality," Anastasia Skorobogatova concluded.
