
MINSK, 2 July (BelTA) – Belarus and Libya signed a package of cooperation documents following the visit of Libya’s government delegation to Minsk, BelTA has learned.
“Today we are taking stock of the results of another stage of our work. I have no doubt that today’s event will give a fresh momentum to interaction between Belarus and Libya. I am grateful to all partners for putting a lot of effort into maintaining a strong and effective working relationship,” Prime Minister of Belarus Aleksandr Turchin emphasized.

The industry ministries of the two countries signed an agreement of intent.
The Agriculture and Food Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Marine Resources of the Government of National Stability of Libya signed a memorandum of understanding. The Agriculture and Food Ministry of Belarus also signed a protocol of intent with the National Development Authority of Libya.

The two countries will also develop cooperation in the social sphere. A memorandum of intent was signed by the Education Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Government of National Stability of Libya. An action plan to build cooperation in the field of healthcare was also inked.
