MINSK, 22 April (BelTA) - Belarus and Kyrgyzstan will develop a cooperation roadmap until 2030, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Sivak said during a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Belarus Erbol Sultanbayev on 22 April, BelTA has learned.
Anatoly Sivak outlined the areas where Belarus and Kyrgyzstan need to intensify joint efforts. "We need to promptly develop a draft roadmap until 2030 including specific projects to increase mutual trade and further industrial cooperation to achieve $500 million in trade," he stated.
Anatoly Sivak emphasized that the next significant step in the development of bilateral economic cooperation should be the implementation of an agreement to hold a forum for the business communities of both countries in Belarus and an exhibition of Kyrgyzstan's products as part of the major international exhibition Belagro scheduled for 3-7 June this year.
