Belarus, Kenya outline cooperation avenues in agriculture

MINSK, 19 February (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kenya Dmitry Krasovsky met with Kenya’s Principal Secretary for the State Department for Livestock Development Jonathan Mueke, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Kenya.

The meeting took place at Kenya’s Ministry of Agriculture. The head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission and the deputy head of Kenya’s agricultural department discussed promising areas of cooperation between the two countries in agriculture, including livestock breeding and veterinary medicine.

Furthermore, the conversation addressed the possibility of Belarusian enterprises participating in national projects for agricultural mechanization and land reclamation.

The Belarusian side extended an invitation to the head of the Kenyan agency to attend the Belagro 2026 exhibition, to be held in Minsk on 2-6 June 2026.
