MINSK, 18 February (BelTA) – The list of local economic mainstays has been drafted in Belarus in line with Council of Ministers' Resolution No. 90 as of 16 February 2021. The resolution was officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal on 18 February, BelTA informs.
The list includes 103 joint stock companies, of which 16 are located in Brest Oblast, 15 in Vitebsk Oblast, 11 in Gomel Oblast and Minsk Oblast each, 13 in Grodno Oblast, 17 in Mogilev Oblast. The list of Minsk's biggest taxpayers features 20 joint stock companies, including Atlant, Belavia national air carrier, Keramin, Minsk Tractor Works, Minsk Motor Plant, etc.
The document reads that authorized representatives of the head of state in the regions and the city of Minsk have the right to attend meetings of managerial bodies of these enterprises.
The document will come into force on 28 February 2021.
