MINSK, 15 May (BelTA) - Azerbaijan is ready to study the experience of Belarus in developing agro-towns, BelTA learned from the press service of the Agriculture and Food Ministry of Belarus.
Belarusian Agriculture and Food Minister Sergei Bartosh is on a working visit to Baku. On 14 May, he held a meeting with the Azerbaijani counterpart.
"The parties reached agreements regarding the development of trade and economic cooperation, the study of Belarus’ experience in developing agro-towns, cooperation in livestock breeding. Special consideration was given to the prospects for increasing the supply of veterinary drugs and setting up joint production in this direction. Cooperation in the field of agricultural education was discussed as well," the Agriculture and Food Ministry noted.
A delegation from Azerbaijan is scheduled to visit Belarus for the Belagro exhibition.
