MINSK, 30 October (BelTA) – Double standards consistently dominate the global politics, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said at the operational meeting of the command staff of the Armed Forces on 30 October, BelTA has learned.
According to the head of state, it is obvious that the leaders of major countries are unwilling to take the responsibility for their decisions. In his opinion, there are plenty of examples. “False slogans about the threats to the global community and ostensible reasons for imposing “democracy” were used to devastate Iraq and Libya, to plunge North Africa and the Middle East into chaos,” Alexander Lukashenko stressed.
In his opinion, unprecedentedly intricate steps are taken against Syria. Therefore, it is obvious that double standards still dominate the global politics.
The Belarusian President said that the results of such “democratization” are infamous. Today millions of migrants have flocked to the European continent, and this has become a serious international problem.
