Belarus, Cyprus mull over parliamentary groups of friendship

Oleg Kravchenko and Demetris Syllouris discussed the ways of intensifying bilateral cooperation in general and also between the parliaments of Belarus and Cyprus, including the possibility of setting up groups of friendship, exchanged views on the prospects for expanding direct contacts between parliamentarians, including in the international arena.

According to the source, prisoners of war were exchanged on 27 December. The exchange took place after a 15-month break and demonstrated that the conflicting parties can reach an agreement even on the most complicated problems, provided there is political will, noted the diplomat.
