MINSK, 16 February (BelTA) - Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus continues to confidently lead the updated rankings of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian currently has 10,990 points and is 3,187 points ahead of Poland’s Iga Świątek, who is in second place. Belarusian Aleksandra Sasnovich has risen one position and now sits at 113th place. Today, in the Round of 64 at the Dubai Tennis Championships, Aliaksandra Sasnovich will face Romania's world number 32 Sorana Cîrstea. Victoria Azarenka is in 151st position, with Iryna Shymanovich five lines below.

1. Aryna Sabalenka (Belarus) – 10,990 points
2. Iga Świątek (Poland) – 7,803
3. Elena Rybakina (Kazakhstan) – 7,523
4. Coco Gauff (USA) – 6,423

Carlos Alcaraz of Spain leads in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings. Italy’s Jannik Sinner is in second place, and Serbia’s Novak Djokovic rounds out the top three. The best representative from Belarus, Erik Arutiunian, is in 432nd place.
