
MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) - Belarusian athletes have won three medals at the Russian Open Track Cycling Championships in St. Petersburg, BelTA has learned.
The men's 1000m Time Trial was held as part of the Russian Cup at the Lokosphinx Cycle Sport Center on 24 September. Belarusian Artsiom Zaitsau finished in second by covering the 1,000m distance in 1:00.983. The top three was rounded out by another Belarusian Aliaksandr Hlova (1:01.644).
Earlier, Artsiom Zaitsau won the bronze medal in the keirin and finished fifth in the sprint at the Russian Championships.
