MINSK, 12 November (BelTA) - Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus has set a new record for prize money earned in a single season, BelTA has learned.
In 2025, the world's top-ranked player earned $15,008,519. Over the course of her career, Aryna Sabalenka has now earned more than $45 million. The previous annual record was set in 2013 by Serena Williams of the USA, who earned $12,385,572 (her total career prize money stands at $94.8 million).
This season, Aryna Sabalenka held the top spot in the world rankings without interruption and clinched the title at a Grand Slam tournament - the US Open - as well as at the competitions in Madrid, Miami, and Brisbane. In total, the 27-year-old Belarusian now has 21 WTA singles titles to her name.
