MINSK, 13 October (BelTA) - Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka has maintained her lead in the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) world rankings, BelTA learned from the official WTA website.
As of 13 October, Aryna Sabalenka had 10,400 points and lead Poland's Iga Swiatek, who is in second place, by more than 1,500 points. Coco Gauff of the USA (7,873) rounds out the top three. The Belarusian tennis player is guaranteed to finish the year as world number one, as Iga Swiatek can no longer catch her in the rankings.
