FC Dinamo Minsk may face HNK Rijeka in UEFA Champions League qualifying

MINSK, 18 June (BelTA) – The 2025/26 Champions League second qualifying round draw took place in the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on 18 June, BelTA has learned.

If FC Dinamo Minsk succeed against Bugaria’s PFC Ludogorets 1945 in the first qualifying round, they will next face Croatia’s HNK Rijeka. FC Dinamo Minsk will play the champions of Bulgaria on 8 and 9 July. The return leg is scheduled for 15-16 July. Teams need to go through four qualifying rounds in order to reach the main stage that features 36 teams. If Minskers lose in the Champions League first qualifying round, they will relegate to the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.

The UEFA Conference League first qualifying round will feature three Belarusian teams. FC Neman Grodno will take on Armenia’s FC Urartu. FC Torpedo-Belaz will play North Macedonia’s FK Rabotnicki. FC Dynamo Brest will face Montenegro’s FK Sutjeska-Nikšić. Matches will take place on 10 and 17 July. Four qualifying rounds precede the UEFA Conference League main phase that features 36 teams.
