MINSK, 22 November (BelTA) – The second day of the international tournament Strongest Athletes Swimming Cup concluded on 21 November at the Minsk International Standard Swimming Pool, BelTA has learned.
On Friday, 21 November, athletes competed across 13 medal events. The Belarusian team added one gold, five silver, and seven bronze medals to its tally. Anastasiya Shkurdai took first place in the women’s 100m backstroke, while Ilya Shymanovich (men’s 100m breaststroke), Aleksei Rylko (men’s 400m individual medley), and Anastasiya Kuliashova (women’s 50m butterfly) finished second in their finals.
Vladislava Shayenko (women’s 100m freestyle), Danila Bokhurov (men’s 400m medley), Uladzimir Mamekin (men’s 50m backstroke), Grigori Pekarski (men’s 100m butterfly), and Aleksandra Shleiko (women’s 400m medley) rounded out the top three in their respective events. The Belarusian relay quartets also won two silver and two bronze medals.
