MINSK, 2 December (BelTA) – Belarusian figure skater Viktoriia Safonova has accepted an official invitation to compete at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan, BelTA learned from the press service of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
In September, Viktoriia Safonova placed fourth at a qualifying tournament in Beijing, securing an Olympic quota. Last week, the International Olympic Committee confirmed Safonova’s eligibility to compete at the 2026 Olympic Games under a neutral status.
