MINSK, 23 June (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes claimed 45 medals at the Best Athletes Cup in Canoe Sprint, BelTA has learned.
The event at the rowing channel in Zaslavl featured more than 230 athletes from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and China. The five-day Best Athletes Cup comprised 23 medal events. The Belarusian team won 45 (19 gold, 17 silver and 9 bronze) medals. Uladzislau Kravets clinched five champion titles in the K1 500m, K1 1000m, K1 5000m, K2 and K4 events.
Russian athletes won four finals out of 23. Medals were clinched by representatives of all participating teams.
