Belarus U19 to face Greece in UEFA Euro qualifiers opener

MINSK, 12 November (BelTA) – The Belarus U19 national team kicks off its bid in the first round of the 2026 UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualification competition on 12 November, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian team, led by Sergey Sosnovsky, will open their Group 3 account in Manavgat, Türkiye, with a match against Greece on 12 November at 1.00 p.m. In the second round on 15 November, the Belarusian players will compete against the hosts, Türkiye, and will wrap up the group stage against Liechtenstein on 18 November.

The top two teams from each of the 13 groups will advance to the elite qualifying round, along with the best third-placed team. The elite round matches will take place in the spring of 2026. The final tournament of the 2026 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, featuring eight teams, will be held on 28 June-11 July in Wales. The Welsh team received an automatic qualification.
