
MINSK, 1 August (BelTA) - Belarus has climbed to 49th place in UEFA's updated club rankings following the conclusion of second qualifying round matches in European competitions, BelTA has learned.
The advancement came after FC Neman Grodno progressed to the UEFA Conference League third qualifying round, earning Belarus 1.875 points this season - matching the nation's entire 2022/23 European campaign total. FC Neman could further boost Belarus' standing if they overcome Faroe Islands' KÍ Klaksvík, with the first leg scheduled for 5 August in Tórshavn and the return fixture on 14 August in Szeged, Hungary.
FC Dinamo Minsk, FC Torpedo-BelAZ Zhodino and FC Dinamo Brest are out of the competition.
