MINSK, 3 October (BelTA) – Yana Lebedeva of Belarus won gold in the women's individual trampoline event at the 3rd CIS Games in Azerbaijan, BelTA has learned.
The women's final featured one representative from each of the six participating countries, all of whom had topped their national qualifications. Belarus' Yana Lebedeva scored 57.71 points to claim gold, edging out Russia's 2024 World Cup holder Anzhela Bladtceva by a mere five-hundredths of a point. The podium was completed by Seljan Mahsudova of Azerbaijan (56.04). The day before, Yana, together with Katsiaryna Yarshova and Viyaleta Bardzilouskaya, secured victory in the women's team event.
Later on 3 October, the men's individual final will take place, featuring two-time Olympic champion Ivan Litvinovich. Medals in the women's, men's, and mixed synchronized trampoline events will also be awarded on Friday.
