MINSK, 12 September (BelTA) – Belarus’ world number 19 Victoria Azarenka has to withdraw from her Guadalajara Open match due to an injury, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian faced world number 89 Kamilla Rakhimova of Russia, but had to withdraw in the second set while trailing 6-2, 3-0.
Kamilla Rakhimova will next play world number 80 Camila Osorio of Colombia, who beat world number 42 Veronika Kudermetova of Russia.
The tournament in Guadalajara will be over on 15 September.
